Dressing Up – Pet Costumes for Halloween

We just got wind that HalloweenStreet.com just updated their costume and costume accessory for pets or other creatures (like the strange ones that include humans and cats!). They say they've been collecting info about the newest pet costumes to be had for Halloween and other times of the year. Did you play with the Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day event? Maybe, you’re thinking a little more fun like sexy belly dancer or the devil look! I want one of those glow-in-the-dark ones – see the video below for a tutorial on how to make your own glow in the dark pet costume! Size Matters – Dog Toys for Those Big & Small

As you may now know, the family at DogToyStuffz has recently grown. But the size it grew was in a teeny-tiny way. Little puppy Nova joined our group as a puppy street rescue weighing in at 1.4 lbs. She is the smallest addition to the family we have ever had as far as dog sizes go! What this meant to us was that suddenly the squeakers in squeaky dog toys didn’t matter for her. Dr. Peter Hanna of Park Animal Hospital My glucose levels hit rock bottom. Doc says it’s probably because I’m so young & small. A little Karo syrup every 2 hours last...

Puppy Rescue Mission – Nova

Happy New Year  – or rather happy Nova's Year! Every dog at DogToyStuffz has their personal rescue story but, for us, this one is still hard to believe.  After safely partying New Year’s Eve and driving home New Year’s Day at about 2am, my son, out of the corner of his eye, on a pitch dark night, sees a little creature jump from the sidewalk into the street.  Not only is the night black but so is this tiniest of creatures. Having stopped our car many times to help so many dogs, cats, turtles, misc fowl creatures from certain death, this night was no different. But this little thing was jet black and unimaginably small. I am amazed my son...

Eco-Friendly Dog Toys for a Green Environment

“Going Green” seems to be the talk these days for everyone, everything and every animal! Our dogs are just as concerned with our environment and being eco-friendly as we are. Heck, they tend to be closer to it than we are at times being that they have to do so much outside! So much, lately, have we been talking about having to be eco-friendly but also being economy-friendly too! Solar power, energy efficiency, recycled goods, re-manufactured products, biodegradable items – all of which help the environment but also help our pocket books. At DogToyStuffz we are committed to safety and protection of not only our dogs but everything around them. So, you’ll start to see a lot of additional hand-picked...
